For GARNET’s November 2021 talk, Professor Rollie Lal of George Washington University’s International Affairs Department and Professor Irene Oh of the Religion Department speak with students and faculty about the importance of women’s participation in the classroom and beyond. What ensues is a constructive and multifaceted dialogue in which the professors discuss their own experiences in male dominated fields as well as the factors which contribute to the continuation of gendered academic spaces.
